Contributor Biography

Máire Ní Leathlobhair main interest is in the genetics, evolution and immunology of both Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumour (CTVT) and Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD). She is part of the Genetic Diversity and Evolution of Transmissible Cancers, a team that uses genomics to investigate the origin, evolution and host interactions associated with contagious cancers. Elizabeth Murchison is Reader in Comparative Oncology and Genetics at the University of Cambridge, Department of Veterinary Medicine. Her research group works on transmissible cancers in dogs and Tasmanian devils.
